Essentially you will be a part of the Spot On team responsible for the project management of around 30 dental practice clients.
Skills and qualifications required for role:
- You will be taking meeting minutes and facilitating action, undertaking analysis, demonstrating and training in practice-specific Excel models and generally engaging with dental practice clients to guide them through the business planning process and to ensure they have the necessary tools and knowledge to progress.
- You will have worked in the dental industry, probably as a head nurse, TC, clinician or manager, and you will therefore be familiar with how a dental practice operates, including the terminology used.
- You will at least be an intermediate user of Excel and have the capacity to pick up new Excel skills quickly. Advanced Excel skills are essential to this role so if you aren't good enough yet, you must have the capacity and drive to learn. Excel skills are tested comprehensively at interview.
- You are a self-starter who can manage your time effectively, work at pace with absolute accuracy, communicate verbally and in written form to a high standard, and use technology with ease.
- You will be professional in your approach, supportive in your demeanour and passionate in your output. Ideally you will have some finance and/or P&L management experience and a good grasp of basic maths.
- Only candidates who have proven dental experience (nurse, clinician, TC or management) will be considered for interview.
You will be a thoroughly experienced accounts technician or part-qualified accountant able to work at pace with accuracy.

- Xero experience
- Sound understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- An unwavering passion for quality output and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret the output of data entered and identify when things don’t look correct including P&L, forecasting, cashflow and reconciliation data
- Customer focused - ability to liaise with clients in a professional and eloquent manner
- Ability to organise your own time, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Deadline oriented, ability to act quickly to changing circumstances
