Jo started her career as a dental nurse working in both general and specialist practices. She later joined the Royal Air Force where she continued her role as a dental nurse alongside her other duties and during her time in service Jo was promoted to practice manager. When she left the RAF she continued her role as a PM working for both independent and corporate practices until making the transition to become a part of the Spot On Business Planning team in March 2019.
Kelli started in the dental industry at the tender age of 16, training as a dental nurse and receptionist. She is ambitious and was quicky promoted to treatment co-ordinator, head nurse and then practice manager, picking up an extensive knowledge base of the NHS along the way. She achieved a Level 4 Management & Leadership certificate in 2020 with the Institute of Leadership and Management, and has successfully managed large dental teams across various sites. She has trained a number of dental nurses throughout her career and enjoys passing on her passion for dentistry to others. Kelli is a dedicated worker and enjoys the various challenges dentistry brings. She joined the Spot On Business Planning team in early 2021, ready to expand her skill set further.
Shannon's career in dentistry began as a dental nurse in a busy, seven surgery practice. Due to progression, hard work and dedication, she was promoted to practice manager. Shannon has experience working in both NHS, specialist and private practices and has managed teams across multiple sites. She competed her Level 5 in Leadership and Management qualification in 2019 with Progress to Excellence. Shannon is client focused and dedicated, with excellent organisational skills and a passion for dentistry.
Having worked in dentistry since 2014, Alex qualified as a dental nurse in 2016 and gained her Diploma from the NEBDN. After a few years working as a dental nurse in various practices in the South West, she felt ready to pursue a new direction and became a treatment co-ordinator. From 2020-2022, she successfully implemented the role in a mixed dental practice, setting up operational systems and liaising with patients, associates and specialists. In 2022 Alex also achieved her Dental Radiography Diploma. After a very successful two years as a TCO, where amongst other accomplishments, she took the principal dentist from a Bronze Invisalign Provider to Gold II within a year, she was ready to face another new challenge! The knowledge she gained clinically and non-clinically in the dental industry makes her a skilled and understanding business analyst.
Robyn started out as a trainee dental nurse in 2012 with NHS Grampian working in general dental clinics and Aberdeen Dental School and Maxillofacial Department for over two years, gaining different skills and experience. In 2014 she achieved her NEBDN dental nursing diploma and from then until November 2022 she worked in a mixed NHS/private practice working her way up to head nurse. During this time she completed a course in conscious sedation in 2016 with SAAD, a dental charity at the forefront of postgraduate teaching of sedation techniques in dentistry. Then in 2017 Robyn qualified as a Childsmile nurse, the training of which training was delivered by NHS Education Scotland. Robyn joined Spot On Business Planning in late 2022 and has proved herself to be a dedicated, skilled business analyst who is always happy to help her clients.
After her talents were spotted in the dental practice setting, Karolina Rusnak joined the team in 2018 and became manager of our accounting technicians in January 2022. Karolina knows the dental industry inside out having qualified as a dental nurse in 2012 and progressing through the ranks to clinical team leader and practice manager.
Number cruncher extraordinaire Kendal Ramsdale has been with Spot On Business Planning over 10 years and has watched it grow and develop into an amazing business. Passionate about numbers, she looks after the financial side of things, analysing profit and loss figures in our highly sought-after Omega spreadsheet. Kendal is CIMA qualified and works very methodically, with great attention to detail.
Having previously worked as a production accountant for an international theatrical producer, Sophia joined the Spot On Business Planning team in February 2020 as an accounting technician to assist in the inputting and analysis of clients’ financial information. She builds trusting working relationships with clients, continuing to expand her understanding of both the dental and financial worlds, and feels proud to be part of such a dedicated and supportive team.
Olu holds an honours degree and a post-graduate degree in Accounting and Finance. A self-motivated and enthusiastic accountant, she is AAT qualified and an ACCA finalist with exceptional technical and fundamental analytical skill sets. She has in-depth experience and hands-on knowledge in using various accounting software packages. She is proactive, ambitious, focused and is an adaptive individual with proven records of accomplishment of leadership and outstanding client relationships, and management, complemented by excellent communication skills. She has worked in industries and in accounting practices.
Katie’s career in dentistry began in 2018 as a trainee dental nurse in a mixed practice in Hampshire. Since then she has had experience in both NHS and private, independent and corporate dental practices. After qualifying Katie progressed to managing a team of nurses in Berkshire. Later, she became area head nurse for Middlesex, Hampshire and Surrey with mydentist, taking control of the training needs for a large group of nurses and helping with their dental nursing exams. Katie joined Spot On Business Planning in 2021 and it is her exceptional organisational skills and industry experience that makes her such an important member of the SOBP accounting technicians' team.
